 The leader of the gang, Max Pride is a resurrected demon (or just some fat trans kid depending on your sense of reality) forever stuck at the age of 13 with a lust for chaos. It’s said that a blonde werewolf killed Max, and he went to Hell for all of his prior sins of greed, pride, and overall debauchery. Thankfully, one of the Devil’s Advocates saw great potential inside of Max and wrote an extravagant report explaining to the Devil himself why this silly little guy should be reborn as a demon of chaos. To make a long story short, Max woke up at his own funeral scaring the audience to death. In the years following that incident, Max has adopted a creative personality which he uses in his drawings, writings, video making, and all the pranks he’s pulled on many deserving and undeserving victims. Max would eventually meet Bailey McChicken, and the two of them would form a lifelong partnership as Nerdy Maniakz. Things were looking bleak in 2020, but that didn’t stop Max from starting a YouTube channel, creating animatics of varying quality, and getting Bailey to star in his own let’s play series, Bailey Basically Explains. Eventually, Max would recruit his cousin Ryze along with a bunch of other friends he met along the way to help make the channel into something even greater. Max’s interests include chaotic cartoons, a wide array of video games, and his eclectic taste in music. 

 Ryze was once human. As the days passed, it felt as if nothing in his life would ever change. One fateful day, he awoke in a plain of infinite void, the floor rippling like water. An otherworldly voice spoke to Ryze and told him to come closer. As soon as he was there, he was home. Looking into the mirror, Ryze saw his hair was now blue, and his eyes were entirely purple. He had also acquired a bunch of cool powers most mortals can’t comprehend so there’s no point listing them. Regardless, it was a new beginning. From then on, he’s been around the block helping people out who need it, like Edywrd. When he’s not traveling, Ryze usually sits and chills in the void minding his business. That was until a cocky demon somehow teleported here and said he should join him on his adventures. Ryze realized this demon was his cousin, Max Pride, so of course he agreed. Now with a group of Nerdy Maniakz, Ryze knows the demon will have them do some strange things (not the Netflix show), but he’s looking forward to the chaos and hopes that you will too. Other than that, Ryze’s other interests include anime, fantasy, fighting games, and sci-fi. 

 Edwyrd is no ordinary vampire nor is he one of those sparkly ones from that lame romance fanfiction, he is a daywalker. Before he was born, his mother Eleanor Helena led a relatively calm life. Tragedy struck when she was murdered by vampires while she was pregnant.  Thankfully, the boy was saved, but at what cost? Edwyrd and his mother’s lives were forever changed by the attack which had transformed Edwyrd into a daywalker. This unique ability grants Edwyrd all the powers of a vampire, without any of the usual weaknesses like sunlight, garlic, silver, and the like. The town, terrified of what he had become, cast him out. Left with nowhere to turn, Edwyrd sought refuge in a temple. While on a vacation to the temple, Ryze found Edwyrd and the two of them quickly became friends after Ryze helped Edwyrd deal with his longtime enemies. Later, Ryze would be recruited by Max Pride into the Nerdy Maniakz, and Edywrd would reluctantly join him, finding a liking to this new alliance of outcasts. Not only does Edywrd enjoy getting his revenge on other vampires, he also likes Pokemon, hero shooters, and making random noises.

 The host of Bailey Basically Explains, Bailey McChicken is Max Pride’s best friend and longtime creative partner. Like everyone else, he’s your average autistic nerd that is extraordinary. An evil company known as N.E.R.D. Inc. forcibly cured his ACC by mutating his brain with chicken DNA. Some would argue this had no effect on him as he’s still cowardly, however he does get pretty aggressive while playing a frustrating video game. Don’t be fooled: Bailey enjoys playing video games and basically explaining them. He’ll basically explain just about anything that comes to mind. As stated before in Max’s bio, Bailey would meet Max in high school and form the Nerdy Maniakz. In 2020, Max jokingly made Bailey record a let’s play on Deadpool, the former editing it and uploading it to YouTube. From then on, Bailey has covered hundreds of games including Lego games, Psychonauts, Fallout, both South Park RPGs, and a handful of other unique games while providing colorful commentary, useless facts, and moments of rage. Nowadays, Bailey takes the backseat as the rest of the crew makes different videos for the channel with him occasionally popping back up when summoned.
